National Centre for the Performing Arts in Beijing
This futuristic design looks almost like a UFO or (as its nickname suggests) a Bird’s Egg. This gorgeous opera house is built of titanium and glass and is surrounded by an artificial lake. It spans nearly 12,000 square meters and can seat 5,452 people at a time in its three massive halls.
Royal Albert Hall in London
Going from futuristic to old-school, this gorgeously designed hall is one of the UK’s most treasured buildings. It opened in 1871, and has seen some of the world’s finest performers grace its ancient halls. If you’re ever in London, make sure to take in a show here.
