Education Seating 

Educational seating is more important than most people tend to think, because it can have a major impact on the learning process, and it can affect how attentive students are in class. Studies have shown that students get the most out of classroom lessons when they are seated comfortably, so that the chairs don't distract them and cause important information to be lost or not heard at all. Years ago, only those students positioned toward the front of a classroom got the optimal benefit from a classroom lecture, and those students in the rear were more subject to being distracted, and  to doodling or zoning out, simply because they were away from direct contact with the instructor.

Nowadays however, seating has been designed such that there are often tiered layers in a lecture hall, and that brings even the rows furthest away from the front of the classroom into closer contact with the lecturer. Seating has also gotten much more comfortable than the hard wooden seats of years ago, and students are less distracted as a result. The different types of education seating 

As you might expect, there are several different types of seating which can be found in most larger educational institutions. There is auditorium seating, which would be used to accommodate hundreds or perhaps thousands of students in one large auditorium, for the purpose of hearing talks, watching videos, or for other educational purposes. Classroom seating is needed to provide a reasonably comfortable place for students to take in their lessons, and to potentially take notes on lectures being delivered, and in some cases, colleges, universities, and high schools install truly innovative classroom seating which maximizes space usage while still delivering comfortable and functional seating.

Lunchroom seating or cafeteria seating has to provide suitable accommodations for students while they're being refreshed with food and drink, so the seating itself needs to be comfortable enough to provide value to this restorative period of the day. It's also necessary to design lunchroom seating so that a good number of chairs can be easily fit into the lunchroom area, without crowding students or making them feel uncomfortable. This type of seating tends to be plainer than for instance, auditorium seating, which must incorporate more design elements that feature comfort and ergonomics.

Gymnasium seating generally refers to the bleacher-style accommodations found in many high schools and colleges, which are used for the viewing of sporting events, and sometimes for assemblies of students when a speaker is delivering an important message. Bleacher-style seating does not usually include any backing, and it must be designed in a manner that makes it easy to roll it back into the wall, so the gymnasium surface becomes available for the next gym class. In this way, the bleachers can be made more or less invisible, and the basketball court of the gymnasium can once again be made available.

University seating often refers to the seating found in lecture halls, auditoriums, and in larger classrooms. It can feature a number of different styles, ranging anywhere from individual chairs, to attached beam chairs and table surfaces which span the length of the lecture hall. Depending on the needs of the educational institution, university seating can be very flexible, and can be designed to provide comfortable seating for a number of students, who will all be listening, writing notes, and in some cases, viewing video materials.
